It is expected to supply a long-felt desideratum not only for those conducting research on Bharat Ratan Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar but also for the laity naturally interested in having an intimate peep into the working of the mind of their Messiah .

But for these letters, no study of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar can be extensive and exhaustive as what they contain is conspicuous by its absence even in his own work not to speak of the books by others on him.

The importance of the letters as a primary source cannot be over-emphasized in the light of the fact that he was an economical letter writer.
