The Second World War is barely over when Biggles and his team are recruited by to do a job for Scotland Yard. Their brief is simple: to track down and break up a gang of international murderers and thieves who are making lightning raids from the air. But how can they hope to find a gang which attacks without warning anywhere in the world and is gone within seconds? It looks as if their first job as detectives could well be their last.
