In this book the author locates an interesting territory between sociology of religion and philosophy of religion, using data from the Indian context. Methodologically inventive, the work offers an on-all-fronts approach to the phenomenon of religion. The presuppositions of religion are explored in the chapter and this leads on to a critique of the contemporary interest in religious language.
