An appreciable volume of contribution of scholarship is thus being produced under the auspices of St. Antony’s and the present series has been started in order to preserve and present a selection of this work. This series is not, however, confined to this work. This material alone and includes contribution from other place.

This volume is intended by the Warden and Fellows of St Antony’s College to serve as a tribute to the memory of their friend and colleague, Robert Nigel Carew Hunt. His paper on Muenzenberg was completed shortly before his death; the other contributors were all associated with him in his Seminar on International Communism.
