Adithi Rao graduated from Smith college, USA, with a diploma in theatre, and again to India to work as an assistant director at the Hindi film Satya. She went directly to come to be a author on a travel channel. She writes for youngsters and adults, television and film. Her short stories have seemed in diverse anthology collections. Shakuntala and Other Stories from Ancient India and Growing Up in Pandupur (Young Zubaan, 2011) are her first books.
